Two people including a child were wounded when Israeli troops opened fire toward hundreds of Palestinians gathered at the crossing in order to separate them, according to medical sources and witnesses. Israel was expected to free 30 Palestinian prisoners in the Gaza Strip on Monday, but the release was delayed. Officials gave no explanation for the delay. Originally, 87 Palestinian were prisoners slated to be freed Monday, but only 57 were released to their homes in the West Bank.
