Israeli policemen detain a Palestinian protester during a demonstration marking the 66th anniversary of the "Nakba," meaning catastrophe, when many Palestinians fled or were expelled from their towns and villages during the war of Israel's foundation in 1948, at Damascus Gate in Jerusalem's Old City May 15, 2014. An Israeli police spokesman said on Thursday that 5 Palestinian protesters were detained during the unauthorized demonstration in Jerusalem's Old City, where stones were thrown at policemen and an Israeli flag was burnt.
