A Palestinian artist puts the final touches on a black and white mural painting dedicated to late Italian activist Vittorio Arrigoni in Gaza City on April 14, 2012, as Gazans marked the first anniversary of his murder in the northern Gaza Strip after being kidnapped by a fringe, radical Salafist group. Arrigoni, a 36-year-old member of the International Solidarity Movement (ISM), was found hanged last year in an abandoned house north of Gaza City after a radical Islamist group had posted a video of him online and threatened to kill him unless Hamas released an unspecified number of their members..
