Palestinian Prime Minister, Salam Fayyad tries to cover his face to avoid tear gas fired by Israeli soldiers, in the West Bank town of Bilin, on 01 March 2013. The residents of Bilin, west of Ramallah, marked eight years of the village's struggle against the separated wall. Despite the rerouting of the Wall in June 2011, some 1,350 dunams (333 acres) are left on the 'Israeli' side of the Wall and were effectively annexed to the adjacent Jewish settlement of Modi'in Ilit.
