Palestinian children's shadows on a wall with a mural depicting a Palestinian fight and an Israeli flag in the Jabaliya Refugee Camp in northern Gaza Strip on 22 August 2011 Reports state that Palestinian militants fired two missiles at southern Israel on 22 August 2011, despite an announcement earlier in the day that they would stop launching rockets at the Jewish state, the Israeli military said. The rockets landed in open territory near the city of Ashkelon, about 14 kilometres north of the salient. There were no reports of injuries or damage to buildings, but they did set a field alight.
